The importance of maintenance of your evacuation chairs

The nominated responsible person must ensure your organisation meets legal obligations under PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations) 1998 and Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER).

By adding your evac chairs to an annual maintenance regime, you can be confident that your chair will be fully functional in the event of an emergency.

All organisations are responsible for the quality of equipment that their employees use. As such, any evacuation chair should be maintained regularly so it remains fully functional. In the event of an emergency or a regular fire drill, our servicing and maintenance ensures your evacuation chairs will be ready to safely evacuate the people in your building, should the need arise.
